Ok everyone, I’m sorry for the disappearing act again. A lot has gone on in the life of David Weathers. A quick recap of the last year or so. In January 2010 I was put back on the market as a single man so as you can imagine I’ve been a bit stressed. It’s hard to lose something you care about so much and just move on without hopes to reconcile. In the business end of things, we had our first official Freestyle Alligator Wrestling Competition(FAWC) and preparing for upcoming FAWC 2 set for October 22-23, 2010 being held at the Seminole Okalee Indian Village at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL. My partners and I also took over management of the NATIVE VILLAGE in Hollywood, FL. This is the place where my career started at the age of 10. Being back has brought a complete feeling in my life’s work in the Animal Entertainment industry. In the next month or so we will also be opening a serpentarium in St. Petersburg, FL. The exhibit will be small but will include a live display of some of the worlds most deadly snakes. I am currently recovering from my 3rd venomous snake bite which occurred 2 weeks ago. The bite was from an Ornate Cantil (Central American Pit Viper) that struck me with both fangs on top of my right hand. This was by far the worst yet. The venom was injected directly in the vein which caused it to affect me very fast. After the use of 39 vials of antivenin I spent a week in the hospital and still have not fully recovered the use of my right hand but do expect a full recovery in the next few weeks. My thanks go out to Venom1(Lt. Lisa Wood) and my nurses Marva and Darnella for caring so much. Finally, Jackass 3-D will be coming out in theaters October 15, 2010. Check it out!!!!! I understand it’s over the top. I would also like to thank everyone that has supported me and my crazy career and lifestyle. Family, friends, and fans……. I thank you all.

Sorry I have not been on here in a minute. For the past few months I have been working on an Alligator Wrestling project that is currently being prepared to pitch to a tv network in hopes to launch a series. It has been alot of work especially on top of the usual load at the ranch. It is action packed and is a big part of my background. I am involved with this project as one of the creators, directors, executive producers, and videographers, as well as talent. I will post a trailer for the show for comments once it is allowed.
Also….. I am featured in the November/December issue of “HEAVY HITTERS” magazine. Pick up an issue and tell me what you think!

well at least you caught something, we went herping on the way home too didnt have such good luck. maybe in two weeks when we go back it will be a little better.
I have been in Daytona Beach over the last weekend for the National Reptiles Breeders Expo. I also went to visit the Reptile Discovery Center in De-land, FL which is owned by my friend Carl Barden. If anyone is in the area you should definitely check it out. I think I can easily say it was the best part of the weekend. I have some pics I will post as soon as I upload. I also finished the weekend with a snake hunt on the way home and caught a beautiful Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake that was about 4 feet. The rest of the week has been catching up at the Ranch with all the animals. Til next time!
